What area do you cover? 

Our chapter includes mothers within the city of Fairfield (zip code 45014), as well as parts of Hamilton.  Click here to view a map of our club boundaries. 

 

How do I join? 

Prospective members may attend two business meetings before deciding to join.  Children are welcome at these meetings.  Prospective members may not vote, receive a newsletter and calendar, or participate in club activities until they have paid their dues.  If you decide that the club is right for you, all you need to do is submit your completed application forms and the annual club dues. 

 

How much are club dues? 

Club dues are $20 annually.  The dues cover the administrative costs of running the club.  If the club dues would be a financial hardship for your family, please notify the membership coordinator or other Executive Board members.   

 

What are monthly business meetings? 

Monthly business meetings are open to all members and prospective members, and children are welcome to attend.  These meetings are used to complete any business issues that arise from month to month.  Business meetings also typically include a guest speaker from the community on a variety of topics.  Contact us for the next meeting date and time. 

 

How do I know what events are going on each month?

Our MOMS Club distributes a monthly newsletter and calendar of events via email or regular (snail) mail.  You must be a member to receive a newsletter and calendar.  Email is the primary means of communication for the club.   A roster is also published with member contact information. 

 

Who organizes the events? 

A volunteer coordinates each age-based playgroup or special events for the club.  Any club member may suggest or volunteer to coordinate an event.   

 

Who runs the club? 

Elections are held annually for administrative positions in the Executive Board.  Volunteers fill all other coordinator positions such as playgroups, group activities, newsletter, and calendar.
